2. Neglecting Regular Maintenance: Failure to follow recommended maintenance schedules, such as not changing the oil or neglecting other routine services, could void the warranty.
3. Using Non-Approved Parts or Fluids: If customers use aftermarket parts or fluids that are not approved by the auto shop, it may void the warranty.
4. Misuse or Abuse: Any form of vehicle misuse or abuse, such as aggressive driving, overloading, or using the vehicle for purposes it wasn’t designed for, could void the warranty.
5. Failure to Report Issues Promptly: Customers should report any issues or defects covered by the warranty promptly. Failure to do so might lead to the warranty being voided.
6. Environmental Damage: Damage caused by floods, accidents, or other environmental factors might not be covered under warranty.
7. Tampering with Vehicle Mileage: If customers tamper with or alter the vehicle’s mileage, it could void the warranty.

Rebuilt & Remanufactured Engine and Transmission Warranty

Limited Warranty: 24 Months / 24,000 Miles

Unless otherwise specified in writing, rebuilt and remanufactured engines and transmissions installed by Blue Star Brothers are covered for 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first. This warranty is provided directly by Blue Star Brothers and honored at any Blue Star Brothers location.

Maintenance Requirements

• Engines: Full synthetic oil changes are required at intervals not exceeding 6,000 miles.

• Transmissions: Transmission service is required at intervals not exceeding 20,000 miles.

Failure to follow these maintenance requirements or provide computerized proof of service may result in denial of coverage for related failures.

Warranty Coverage & Exclusions
Eligible warranty claims cover parts, labor, and towing, subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty. Towing assistance: 718-389-6709.

Coverage excludes failures or damage resulting from unauthorized modifications or alterations, external component failures or damage, collisions, impacts, or other physical damage. Failures resulting from improper maintenance, neglect, or failure to follow required service intervals may also be excluded.

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and authorization by Blue Star Brothers. Warranty repairs must be performed at a Blue Star Brothers location unless otherwise authorized in writing. Customers must retain maintenance records and receipts as proof of compliance.

This is a limited warranty subject to applicable terms, conditions, and exclusions. Different warranty terms apply only when specified in writing.

Collision Repair Warranty

All collision repairs completed by our facility are backed by a 2-Year Warranty covering both parts and labor. This warranty ensures the quality and reliability of the repairs performed on your vehicle.

PPG DELTRON® NXT Refinish offers a Limited Paint Warranty that covers issues such as peeling, cracking, or fading due to workmanship or material defects. 

Warranty Exclusions:

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from a subsequent collision or impact
• Repairs or alterations performed at any facility other than ours
• Any modifications made to the vehicle after repairs

To maintain warranty coverage, all repair-related concerns must be addressed directly with our team.

Rat Prevention System – Warranty & Disclosure:

The Rat Deterrent System includes a limited two (2) year warranty covering defects in the unit under normal use.

No Guarantee:
This system is intended to deter rodents; however, we do not guarantee complete prevention of rat or rodent activity, as results may vary based on external conditions.

Customer Responsibility:
Proper vehicle cleanliness and maintenance of the engine compartment are required. Lack of maintenance may reduce effectiveness and is not covered under warranty.

For any engine compartment cleaning services, we are not liable for any pre-existing issues or any electrical/mechanical problems that may occur during or after the process.
